Hail Damage Assistance

As many of you may already know, Lakengren recently had three hail storms over the last month, with the most significant storm hitting on April Fool’s Day. Hail was reported as large as an inch and a half in our area.  Many of you probably viewed the pictures on the Lake Lakengren Facebook Page we posted.  It was pretty incredible that we were still finding hail 4 days after the storm.

I’ve received several calls over the last month or so asking for recommendations for roofing companies and actual dates of the storms.  I thought it would be a good idea to send out this information in the effort to help you determine if you have damage as a result of these storms and give a few recommendations based on our experience....

2012 Dredging Project

In the past months, the Lakengren Board of Trustees and management started looking into dredging options for the main lake and some of the smaller lakes. The board felt this is a much needed project to keep our property values from declining. We received estimates in excess of $850,000.00. The board realized this would not be an option financially for the community so we looked at alternative options. The board has agreed and approved on a dredging plan that will start late summer early fall. This plan will have NO ADDITIONAL cost to the property owners....

2012 Lakengren Dragons Baseball

The Dragons are Lakengren's competitive youth baseball club. The Dragons begin their second season this spring and once more they transform Rick Krohn Baseball Field into the Dragons Lair.
