Annual Kids Fishing Derby

Saturday, June 22  – Lakengren’s A&E Committee hosted the Annual Kids Fishing Derby on Hammer Lake. With fishing poles in hand, kids, parents, and grandparents all came out despite the rainy weather conditions to catch fish.

Kids, all 14 years old and younger, were divided into 3 age groups in which to compete. First, second, and third place winners were awarded for each age group. The A&E Committee provided bait for the day and prize fishing poles for the winners!

The community had a fantastic time with everyone saying it was a great event and that they can’t wait until next year!

Lakengren’s Annual Bluesfest

The Lakengren Lodge was rocking on February 22 with The Growlers and The Josh Garrett Band playing to a full house!  It was Lakengren’s Annual Winter Bluesfest brought to you by Andrew Gaydosh & Associates. “We are so lucky to be able to get such incredible musicians playing here at Lakengren.” said Andrew Gaydosh. The local favorite The Growlers are really taking off in popularity and getting booked all over, including a recent gig in Florida. The Josh Garrett Band fortunately always finds room to squeeze us in between their other gigs.

The Lakengren A&E Committee was there raffling off gift baskets and selling split the pot tickets. All proceeds from the night went to a new fund dedicated to fixing up the Lodge. Big Dawgz was open and providing great food throughout the night. Andrew said he was glad to see everyone shaking off those winter blues,  “We have such an incredible community and it was so great to see everyone out enjoying the party.” A big thank you to all the sponsors who make this event possible every year! Andrew Gaydosh & Associates, Lakengren A&E Committee, Rob & Lisa Wagner, and Performance Title. Lakengren Promoted at the Cincinnati Boat Show

Lakengren real estate expert, Andrew Gaydosh once again attended the 2019 Cincinnati Boat Show Jan 18-27. Andrew set up a booth to promote Lake Lakengren and our community.

“With the national attention Lakengren received from HGTV’s Lakefront Bargain Hunt, more and more people are interested in the community and lake lifestyle Lakengren has to offer. And there is no better place to promote our awesome community than at the boat show with more than 30,000 people in attendance. The more people we can attract to Lakengren the more property values will increase.” said Andrew.

And promote it he did. Andrew said the turnout was fantastic and he was able to connect with lots of people who were familiar with Lakengren and answer their questions and introduce Lakengren to thousands more. Many of you may recall receiving a postcard in the mail inviting you to an After Hours VIP Party. Andrew invited everyone in the community to an event on Saturday, January 26 at Red Roost Tavern in the Hyatt right across the street from the Duke Convention Center where the show was held.  “It was great to see so many Lakengren friends stop by the show and say hello and it was even better hanging out with them for a drink after the event.” Andrew is already planning a bigger and better show for 2020.
