This fun and elegant event draws gardeners from all over the area and provides a great deal of the funding for the club’s special projects. Beautiful planters, baskets, and other garden items put together by Garden Club Members will be featured in the elegant Ballroom and North Parlor of the Oxford Community Arts Center.
The Quick Sale begins at 8:00 a.m. in the North Parlor and is open to everyone on a “walk-in” basis. The Quick Sale consists of tables and tables of garden plants, ranging from common and not-so-common perennials such as daisies, hosta varieties, tropicals, and herbs. You will also find some less common annuals, wildflowers, and even books and plant labels at very reasonable prices. Don’t dawdle! By the time the Live Auction begins most of the best finds in the Quick Sale are gone.
The Live Auction requires reservations and begins in the Ballroom at 9:30 a.m. with a free
luncheon following the auction. Container gardens, special plants, combinations, and any manner of other extraordinary finds will be auctioned by botanist Jack Keegan.

WILDFLOWER WALK

Led by professional botanists from Miami University, these colorful walks will take place at the Silvoor Biological Sanctuary, a five-acre home to over 60 species of wildflowers. The Walks will begin at 1:00 PM on consecutive Sundays, May 1st and May 8th (Mother's Day). Participants need to meet their guide and fellow walkers at the pavilion located in Peffer Park (off of US 27). Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, and make sure your camera batteries are charged. You won't be able to resist taking a few photos of the gorgeous flowers lining the trail.
